Post 341 Day of Service & Revitalization Project

Anthony J. Lowe - 11/15/2021

Dear Comrade,

We are excited to reconnect with many of our neighbors and community supporters after a long and difficult 18 months of battling the pandemic. This month, our beloved Post will undergo a project to refresh, repair and revitalize, making it a more dynamic place not only for us, but for our community.  As you know, we are the only VFW Post in the District of Columbia, continuing to provide critical support to veterans, their families, and caregivers.

We need your help with the painting, clean-up and organizing our building, which will require "all-hands on deck” to assist with this project.

There will be community leaders, supporters and other veteran service organizations taking part in this community event.

Event: VFW Post 341 Revitalization Project and Day of Service

Date: Saturday, 20 November

Time: 10am – 2pm

Because of this day of service, we will have a modified Monthly Post Meeting (in-person)at 0900-0915 PRIOR to the start of the community event. I’d like to remind all of you that our Junior Vice Commander position is currently vacant, and we will hold elections to fill this position during the monthly Post meeting on 17 December, unless membership requests an earlier special election.  Please spread the word to your fellow comrades that may not be in receipt of this email.

Until we meet, Stay Focused…Stay Motivated!

Yours in service,

 Tony
